Megasound’s website (www.megasound1.com) has a fresh, new look. They unveiled their updated website this week and are excited to share it with Fort Wayne brides and grooms. The new site includes a searchable blog that features all sorts of wedding planning ideas, helpful tips, and updates on events and music. Wedding planning is now a little easier for couples with Megasound’s reduced stress planning options.

They give couples the option of also selecting a male or female Officiant as well as MC and DJ for their dream wedding. Wedding Connection members the Wedding Place, the Monogram Shoppe, and Megasound  are proud sponsors of the Fort Wayne Bridal Academy. Their next session is Thursday, April 8 starting at 6:30pm. This season is themed “Bridal Pampering” and includes an evening of relaxation, fun, and tips to on how to avoid stress during the planning process and a bride’s wedding day.

Some of the de-stress type topics include “Overcome Wedding Day Emergencies” by Dawn Quick of The Wedding Place, “Roadmap - I Do to I Will” by Sara Keltsch of The Monogram Shoppe, and “It’s Your Party; Don’t Cry” by June Hoffman of Megasound. Brides will also receive additional pampering in the form of awesome wedding cake from Carolyn Pruden of Elegant Cakes by Carolyn, chocolate indulgences from Angela Dippel of the Fort Wayne Chocolate Fountain, a unique makeup artistry demonstration from Cara Digate (a local Esthetician), and relaxation techniques from the Forum Spa.

Open letter to couples displaced by the recent closure of the Fort Wayne Landmark Conference and Reception Centre.

 

Even though the Landmark Conference and Reception Centre is not and has never been a member of the Wedding Connection, our members feel strongly about weddings in the Fort Wayne area. The Wedding Connection members are dedicated to assisting bridal couples in finding alternative locations for their wedding (ceremony and/or reception).

 

Engaged couples who have future events scheduled at the Landmark in Fort Wayne, Indiana, will want to contact these member facilities as soon as possible to verify date availability at their individual locations.

The Monogram Shoppe is offering a 25% discount to couples who need to reprint their wedding invitations due to the abrupt closure of the Landmark Conference and Reception Centre. Those displaced couples will want to contact the Monogram Shoppe at 260-483-3136. Couples will want to bring a copy of their original invitation to get the best match possible. They can set up an appointment to rework their invitations with the Monogram Shoppe once they have located a suitable Fort Wayne event facility for their wedding ceremony and/or reception.

Regardless of where you are in your wedding planning, the Bridal Spectacular has something for everyone. Northern Indiana’s “Largest Bridal Show” is Sunday, October 18, 2009 from 12pm-4pm. Plan to visit Wedding Connection members as they share with brides and grooms extensive wedding expertise as well as inspiring wedding planning options.

 

 

The Wedding Place will take center stage at 2pm for an awesome, fast-paced wedding style show. Formal attire for all members of the wedding party will be on display for you to enjoy. Bouquets, boutonnières, and other floral accessories from One of a Kind Events will accent the stunning wedding attire on the runway. Megasound will provide MC services as well as the high-energy soundtrack for this dazzling fashion show.

 The Bridal Spectacular is every brides opportunity to meet other Wedding Connection members (including K&S Travel, Picture Perfect Photography, the Monogram Shoppe, Elegant Cakes by Carolyn, Ceruti’s Catering, LC Media, Orchard Ridge Country Club, and more). Many of the wedding products and services that you need to plan an awesome wedding, will be available in one convenient location at the Fort Wayne Bridal Spectacular.

 

Tickets are available on show day only at the Memorial Coliseum 4000 Parnell Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Tickets are $5.50 each with free admission for children under 12.
