Wedding-Inspired Art Supports Local Charity

The Wedding Place revealed their creative entry for the ”Arts se la Table” today. The wedding-inspired theme of “New York Nuptials” features a stunning two-piece black taffeta 2Be Gavin Michaels bridal gown. Their table design is accentuated with peacock feathers, breath-taking pearls, and modern metallic designs as well as animal prints.

The Wedding Place was the only bridal salon selected to be a part of the Pi Iota Xi, Inc. sponsored annual charity event. The event takes place at the Fort Wayne Country Club and benefits the Carriage House.

Members Featured in “Arts de la Table”

The Monogram Shoppe and the Wedding Place are pleased to announce that they will have tables featured at the annual “Arts de la Table” this month. This fundraiser for the Carriage House, will be held April 12 and 13 at Fort Wayne Country Club, 5221 Covington Road.

 

The tables will be decorated by other local businesses as well. The designers at both shops are excited to be among the exclusive group of professionals participating in this fund raising event. The Wedding Place table is titled “New York Nuptials” and features sophisticated and chic, cutting edge details. The Monogram Shoppe’s table is dubbed “You are Invited” and is an elegant display of the classy invitations and unique paper products.  The table preview and silent auction will be 6 to 8 p.m. on April 12, 2010. Tickets are $45 per person.

 

The luncheon, with keynote speaker Frederick J. Frese III, will be on April 13, 2010. Tickets are $100 per person. Table viewing begins at 9:30 a.m. and lunch is served at 12:15 p.m. Frese is a psychologist who was diagnosed with schizophrenia in 1965.
