Picture Perfect Photography offers “A Lifetime of Memories”
The Wedding Connection would like to welcome Picture Perfect Photography as one of their newest members. Picture Perfect Photography started in the wedding world over 25 years ago. Owner, Dave Evans, helped out friends and family with their photographic needs. Today, Dave and his staff of photographers operate under the same premise that got him going way back then! They try to put themselves in their customer’s shoes, always treating their customers as they would like to be treated. They offer each bride and groom a personal, intimate product with their needs in mind.
At Picture Perfect, they concentrate on wedding photography and will also do many on location family shoots and senior portraits as well as commercial and large events.
Picture Perfect Photography along with it’s sister business, Stellhorn Custom Photo offer a wide range of capabilities to brides and grooms as well as commercial client.
Again, welcome Picture Perfect Photography to the Wedding Connection.

DR. CURTIS JONES TO DISCUSS EARLY AFRICAN-AMERICAN SETTLERS IN NORTHEAST INDIANA
Join us at the History Center on Sunday, February 1, at 2:00 pm, as Dr. Curtis Jones presents “They, Too, Came as Pioneers: Early African-American Settlers in Northeast Indiana.” This free lecture is part of the 2008 George R. Mather Sunday Lecture Series, and is made possible with support from the Dunsire Family Foundation.
This presentation examines the historical research findings compiled by Ms. Edith Karene Moore. A family’s journey from about 1760 until 2009 is the subject of this effort. “What we are is what we were when” seems to describe the relative success of the families examined in this research effort. The Jones family is the primary focal point of this presentation.
Curtis Joseph Jones, Ph.D. was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and grew up on a dairy farm in Byron Center, Michigan. He is Professor Emeritus at Grand Valley State University. He received a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from Western Michigan University, and a Doctor of Philosophy from Michigan State University.
The History Center is located at 302 East Berry Street, Fort Wayne, and the facility is handicap accessible. For more information, call (260) 426-2882, or visit our website.
“My Big Redneck Wedding” Hits Close to Home

Just when you thought that you have seen it all…stay tuned for the Season 3 episode of “My Big Redneck Wedding” on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 2pm EST. The Country Music Television channel hit show features Melissa and Bradley from Venedocia, Ohio. The Wedding Connection’s awesome cake artist Carolyn Pruden’s (of Elegant Cakes by Carolyn) wedding cake will be a part of the “redneck event.”
The episode proves to be very entertaining with this couple bringing together a mess of kids and a whole lot of fun. “From redneck jousting with soda bottles on a PVC pipe to the groom rapping his wedding vows, these lovebirds have put a twist on every wedding detail. This also includes a toilet paper theme, a striptease by Melissa at the altar and an “eat the pudding out of the diaper” competition with grandma for dessert. It’s a not-to-be-believed-until-seen show.”
